Considering this is a thank you thread I've got one more! I'd just like to say thank you (or merci!) to all the people who've welcomed me here. I was sceptical about joining as I worried about my french skills but I've been welcomed really warmly by you. Thanks for all the private messages and posts.

I am Eli on the french site. But for some reason it wouldn't let me connect with that name!

I saw 'Le Roi Soleil' in December and was totally blown away by it. I had the cd for a few months before but seeing the show made it all make sense.

Manu is gorgeous and was so sweet after the show with all his fans - I just hung back and took pictures.

Marie - I am the same I can read and write pretty well in French but speaking is another matter. Its nice to know that not only Christel and I have seen the show live!

Et des filles françaises - merci pour la fabrication de moi ainsi accueillez sur le 'site' français en dépit de mon mauvais Français! Il est si gentil que nous puissions tout communiquer dans différentes langues.

Talented performers are apprecaited whatever language they sing in.

Des interprètes doués sont appréciés quelque langue ils chantent dedans.

And Manu has a beautiful voice - et Manu a une belle voix.

Just read on bio that he had to sing 'Hymne a l'amour' at the first audition - my favourite french song of all time!!!!!!!!!!!

Adore Josh Groban's version, and Sebastian Izambard's little bit from a Portuguese tv show.

So glad to see that the troup won an award at the music awards - hope the few of us in the UK voting helped!

I'm new on this forum and I found this idea of creating part in english very fine, cause everybody can talk each other all over the world or the Europ.

Thank you for that and I hope that the show of the "Roi soleil" will cross all the oceans !!!

Im thinking that Seb knows EVERYBODY in the french music scene Mr. Green

Not sure if Seb knows them but Laurent certainly does. When I saw him after NDDP and said I was going to see 'Le Roi Soleil' the next day he told me to give Manu, Merwan and Cathialine a kiss from him (I wish!).

Seb would know Cathialine from 'Le Petit Prince'.

I have to admit I was tempted to go to see NDDP again on the Sunday and not see 'Le Roi Soleil' as Cyril Niccolai was playing Gringoire, but I am so glad that I decided to see 'Le Roi' (I managed to see Cyril as he arrived before the show! As well as Laurent).

Yeah I'm starting to think that also!! Can't I have that job though?

yay!!! is fun when we can talk and understand what everyone is saying. to be honest i never thought it would have such a success this part of the forum cause most of manu fans are french.... Very Happy

but as you can see he its getting known through out the europe and with his success it comes the success of the Roi Soleil and of the rest of the troupe.
