im an english-speaking fan of emmanuel's who is very keen to learn french .
my boyfriend's in France now ( ) and he kinda teaches me informally some french.

but the main reason i join the forum is to share mp3s/videos/news of my fav artist

yes, that's true! And I think that that is due to the universalization of the english language... I am portuguese and I don't know the french language well enough to write in french, so I write in english that is the better way I found to make the other people here understand what I'm saying... (And I sure hope that Emmanuel knows english so that he can read my messages!!! )

I agree with you! Emmanuel will understand more certainly English than portuguais which is a more complicated language!!! I am delighted that you can discuss with us by this way and if you need help to learn French or anything, do not hesitate to let it to me know and I would do my best to help you...

I'm so glad that this section of the site has been opened! I am English and live in London, I saw le roi soleil last December and it was amazing! Emmanuel was brilliant, he is so talented. I bought the double CD and DVD and as a result I really feel that my French has improved. I also sent him a letter which I wrote in French, I hope he read it! I don't know how much English Emmanuel knows but I hope it is enough to understand this message that I am writing, and to know that he has inspired many people around the world, especially me!

I'm English, and even though it's my dream to live in France, I haven't yet been able to learn French. So it's amazing news for me to be able to come on here and understand stuff!

Thanks for the incouragement Christelle! This is a great forum to be a part of. For the record I have been learning French for 7 years now at school. So hopefully he would be able to understand what I wrote in French. I am able to understand most things written on this site in French, my weakest point is holding a conversation in French, I find this difficult but I am improving (hopefully!)
