The way I've discovered Le Roi Soleil

Hello friends!
Clémentine and malika have asked me how did I know Le roi soleil... Well, it started when I was watching TV. I was zapping and suddently something captured my attention when I reached the mcm channel... It was "Mon essentiel"... I was truly amaized with such voice and such feeling! I couln't believe! I felt so many things at the same time Love

! I couldn't stop thinking: "Oh my god!". Words are not enough to express what that stuning interpretation made me feel...
You may ask: " Well, but if you do´'t know the french language, then how could you understand what Emmanuel was singing???
I learned french for three years and I know enough to understand the basics... Besides, I asked a friend to translate the things I couln't understand.

I am really enjoying this site and you are so friendly!

I am English and I live in London. The way I discovered le roi soleil is in a way similar to the way Anaportugal did. My friend and I saw the music video for Mon Essentiel on the French top of the pops website. We loved it so much that we persuaded our teacher to take us on a trip to Paris. She agreed and so we went to Paris in December, during the time we were there we saw le roi soleil, it was amazing. Words cannot describe how brilliant it was! Emmanuel is soooo talented! I'm glad that i can talk about it with all you fine people! You are lucky that you are able to watch the TV programmes that he is on. I don't have any of the channels that you have in France.

Yes that's right, as maz13 said it, we are very lucky to be able to watch tv programmes with "la troupe du Roi Soleil"... but you know we put some videos on the topic called "Medias" so you can aslo see those programmes !

it's real that we're lucky to see them at the television and to have the chance to attend at the performance when they come in our city. Personally, I haven't seen them yet but I'll have this chance in March and in September. But I'm very delighted to have meet once Emmanuel, our King.

I hope you'll continue to enjoy "Le roi Soleil" and if you can, go to Paris from September to see them because that's fantastic.

I Have to say I was estactic when I realised I could now post in English, especially as I speak the very smallest amount of French (for now!).

I'm planning to move to France one day so I've been looking for quite a few French singers. I was looking at Laurent Ban's website and found his links page. Through that I found another artist who'd worked with Anne-Laure Girbal. On her website I found a link to watch Etre a la hauteur. I loved the song and video as soon as I saw it! I then searched for more information on Emmanuel Moire and found the link to watch Je fais de toi mon essentiel. I've been a fan since and have played both videos around twenty times!

in September i was almost safe that it would go to Portugal to visit
my family and soon to go to Paris to see troupe, but I believe that
not it will be able and has to me very sad, really wanted to know
them, mainly to Mànu =(
